Our poor baby has had a terrible virus that scared us beyond belief! We actually ended up in the ER Monday night all night while they did some tests and gave her an IV with antibiotics. Her temperature was almost 105 degrees which was so frightening!! She also had a rash which appeared from such a high temperature. We originally went to A Cute Kids Clinic to see a doctor in the evening and we were sent home knowing that our little baby had a virus and we needed to just keep an eye on her temperature and give her medicine often to keep it down but that wasn't very comforting. So, when her temp spiked back up to nearly 105 degrees, and she became weak and would hardly move for anything, we panicked! Thankfully, after two sets of tests we learned (again) that her body was just fighting off a terrible virus. Reese hasn't been sick like this before so this was all new to us! After a couple of days of meds, her temperature finally stayed at a healthy one, thank the Lord!! We've never been so scared before and it was so sad to see our baby so miserably sick.
Our precious baby is back to her playful normal self, running everywhere and talking up a storm.......and opening doors! That's what I need to baby-proof now is all of our doors! She likes to open up the pantry door to get "snack" and "juice"!! Oh goodness!
She's getting so big and tall! Look at those long pretty legs and that beautiful grin! :) We are so thankful that she's healthy again and back to normal!
