Wedding at Thurman's Mansion 6/29/09

We attended a beautiful wedding in Austin at Thurman's Mansion and it was probably what you would think of when you think "Texas wedding". The menu was Salt Lick Barbecue, which is a well known barbecue place just south of Austin and it's really delicious!! The wedding was held at this mansion, which, the story is that the guy who started Salt Lick, named Thurman, started building his mansion right beside the Salt Lick restaurant. But, unfortunately, before he could complete it and live in it, he passed away. So, his family turned it in to an event center for weddings and other events. It was a really beautiful and neat wedding and we had so much fun!! Congratulations to Zip & Sarah!!

We know she had so much fun playing with her cousins. They were calling Reese "momma Reese" because she just wanted to take care of Payton. I knew that would happen!!! She loves babies so much!! We sure did miss her bunches!! We couldn't wait to get back home to our baby! But, time apart from your baby is good for everyone........even though it's super hard!!

I know Reese's pictures on the blog lately look almost the same and that's because our baby is loving her bathingsuit and sunglasses. And, I guess she loves this bathingsuit in particular because she always wants to wear it. So, yesterday when we were at home, Reese made sure to put on her usual attire while she played around the house! She just makes me laugh!!
