Reese is getting so big and she's growing by the second! I stare at her these days in complete amazement at how big and beautiful she has gotten. She is definitely putting on the pounds and you can see it a lot in her precious face with those big round cheeks and also in her thighs! Her thighs are getting nice and squishy! ;) This is what I've learned from Reese so far and from all of the little ones I've been around.......when you're a baby and as you grow, you get chunky, then you grow tall and thin out, then you get chunky again, then you grow and thin out. It's a cycle!!
Anyways, Reese is developing and growing into a little girl and out of the little baby stage right before our eyes. I keep saying Reese is a year old/12 months when people ask but really, she's almost 14 months! HELLO! Everyday she does something new. 
As for her vocabulary, Reese says: diaper, thank you, nose, eye, fish, mama, dada, baba, dog, Max, Hi, bye, shoe, hot, night night, No, what's that........those are the words that come to mind off the top of my head.....I'm sure there are more words. Reese still signs for milk if she needs milk. She knows where your nose is, where your eye is, and where your hair is. She can point out a fish and a dog. She waves bye-bye and hi all of the time still. She still loves to carry around her blankets and so we have blankets all over the house. Reese knows what you're asking for when you ask for a kiss-kiss. Sometimes she'll give you a kiss when you ask for one or, if she doesn't want to give you one, she'll shake her head no and say NO! She shakes her head no and says no for a lot of things. She knows what's hot, like her carseat sometimes, and things that come out of the oven or microwave. She'll say "hot, hot, hot" like a million times. So cute! "Uh, Uh, Uh, Uh, Uh, Uh" is what Reese will say if she sees something she wants. For instance, if she sees animal crackers on the counter, she'll point and say "uh, uh, uh" until she gets them!! Yes, Reese still sleeps with mommy and daddy. It's been a big challenge trying to change that for all of us. Zack and I really just love her sleeping with us. She's a great cuddler and she lays down with us and goes to sleep right when we do. It's wonderful! We know we probably can't do that forever.....but for right now it just works. Reese loves jewelry. She'll get in my big jewelry box and take out bracelets and necklaces and she'll wear them and wave. She pretty much waves to the walls if noone's around for her to wave to. She even has her own little necklaces and she absolutely loves them. If only she loved wearing her bows like she loves wearing her necklaces. Reese's hair is getting long and she still has all of those pretty little curls, which also means her hair is a little on the wild side! ;) Reese is just a growing, beautiful, playful, smart, special, little angel that we are so proud of! If only she could grow a little slower please!
